Ushbu tadqiqot O‘zbekiston issiqxonalarida koksidlar (Homoptera: Coccoidea) ning tur tarkibi, bioekologiyasi va zararlilik xususiyatlarini o‘rganish ahamiyatli ekanligini ko‘rsatdi. Xorijiy tadqiqotlar koksidlar biologiyasi va kurash usullarini keng yoritgan bo‘lsa-da, O‘zbekistonda bu yo‘nalishda ishlar yetarli emas. Ushbu tadqiqot koksidlarning tur tarkibi va populyatsiya dinamikasini o‘rganishda birinchi qadam bo‘lib, issiqxona xo‘jaliklari samaradorligini oshirishga xizmat qiladi.
