Abstract

This article provides information on the general description, importance, and representatives of ascomycetes. The bottom and top representatives of the class are vegetative, asexual and sexually reproductive. Ascomycetes parasitize agricultural crops and cause various diseases. Some of them have useful aspects, such as antibiotics, vitamins, etc.
