Abstract

Ascomycetes (Ascomycota) are the largest and most diverse class of the fungal kingdom, playing a significant role in nature and human life. This article provides a detailed review of the general characteristics of ascomycetes, their reproduction methods, ecological importance, their role in human activities, and negative impacts. The article fully highlights the economic and biological significance of ascomycetes.
