This scientific work studies the species, distribution and importance of the Urticaceae family. Urticaceae is a plant family that includes more than 50 species of plants worldwide. These plants are mainly distributed in tropical and subtropical regions, and some species are also found in Eurasia and North America. Plants of the Urticaceae family are often used in medicine, food and industry, and are also of great ecological importance, as they play an important role in soil nutrition and ensuring mutual relations in the ecosystem. This work discusses the classification of species of the Urticaceae family, their geographical distribution, economic and ecological importance, as well as the scientific and positive value of their study
