Abstract

Engineering activity has historically been isolated from other types of intellectual work as a result of the development of the social division of labor, as well as a number of technical, economic and social factors. In the course of this process, a new profession emerged – the engineer, whose activity is based on the application of scientific knowledge to solve technical problems.
