Abstract

The article discusses the methods of pedagogical and psychological examination of children with mental retardation, the creation of optimal conditions for the effective functioning of the educational process, the educational upbringing of students with mental retardation, and the socio-professional development of future educators and pedagogues, their role in society and the process of improving their professional skills.
