Abstract

This article analyzes the life and work of Giuseppe Verdi, a major representative of Italian musical culture of the 19th century. His innovations in opera, dramaturgy, and works that are in harmony with the national idea are studied. The role of Verdi's work in the development of Italian opera, its connection with socio-political movements, and its lasting influence on the modern opera stage are highlighted
