Abstract

The article analyzes the origin, historical development and place of Uzbek folk instruments in musical and cultural life on a scientific basis. The structure, performance technique and practical application of traditional instruments such as dutor, rubob, tanbur, doira, karnay, surnay, and nay, which mainly belong to the group of stringed, percussion and wind instruments, are covered. The article is of theoretical and practical importance for students and pupils studying in the field of art, teachers, and those interested in studying national music
