This article provides a comprehensive overview of the polyphonic traditions of Uzbek national maqom performance. It provides a comprehensive analysis of the historical roots of maqom art, its stages of development, and its role in contemporary performance. It also discusses the position of maqom art not only in traditional performance, but also in today's modern musical scenes. Polyphonic performance styles in maqom are especially recognized as one of the unique aspects of our national musical heritage.
