PROSPECTS FOR STRENGTHENING CITIZENSHIP AMONG YOUTH IN UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This thesis examines the problems and prospects of forming and strengthening the civic position of young people in Uzbekistan. The author links the process of developing civic consciousness in the younger generation with political culture, spiritual environment, family upbringing, education system and military-patriotic activities. In particular, the role of family upbringing, training in schools and higher educational institutions, social networks, the media, and the place of political science in the curriculum are emphasized. It also highlights the importance of civic activity levels, increasing the legal and political literacy of young people, state and non-state military-patriotic initiatives, and participation in economic processes in the formation of a civic position. The proposals put forward in the thesis include practical approaches aimed at strengthening civic consciousness.
