THE PLACE OF PHARMACEUTICALS IN PRESENT UZBEKISTAN, INNOVATIVE DISCOVERY OF DRUGS AND NANOTECHNOLOGIES IN PHARMACEUTICALS

Abstract

Abstract. This article discusses the reforms, innovations and promising directions in the development of the pharmaceutical sector in the Republic of Uzbekistan during the years of independence. The pharmaceutical industry is considered as one of the strategic sectors of the country's economy, and production capacities in accordance with international GMP standards, tax and customs privileges provided by the state, the establishment of free economic zones for pharmaceuticals, and the introduction of innovative technologies are covered.
Detailed information is also provided on the development of drugs based on nanotechnologies, scientific research, international experience exchange, and the training of qualified specialists through the dual education system. Also, strategies aimed at the rapid development of the pharmaceutical industry based on government resolutions and presidential decrees adopted in recent years are presented.
