BIO-ECOLOGICAL PROPERTIES AND PHARMACEUTICAL SIGNIFICANCE OF THE ALOE (ALOE VERA) PLANT

Abstract

This thesis presents the homeland, distribution areas and growing conditions of the aloe plant. The structure and chemical composition of the aloe plant are described. Information is provided on obtaining a natural food supplement from the aloe plant and treating gastrointestinal and skin diseases with the help of these food supplements. This thesis discusses the protection of medicinal plants in the Republic in recent years, the rational use of natural resources, the establishment of plantations where medicinal plants are grown and their processing, and the widespread use of aloe in folk medicine. At the same time, the article shows that aloe is not only a medicinal plant, but also an appetite stimulant, and that plant extracts are useful for headaches and tuberculosis.
