Abstract

In order to find new natural ways to treat upper respiratory tract diseases, the chemical composition of local medicinal plants rosehip (Rosa canina L) and licorice (Glycyrrhiza glabra L) was studied. During the study, the antioxidant activities of both plants were assessed spectrophotometrically. The sample of plants obtained in the ratio (3:1) showed the highest antioxidant activity.
