This article considers the problem of developing welding joints for biotechnological equipment, in particular, bioreactors and fermentation vessels. The possibility of obtaining high-quality, corrosion-resistant, hygienic welds using the TIG method on the basis of stainless steels is analyzed. The advantages and prospects of laser and plasma welding are also described.
