This article analyzes the following main aspects of the biological mechanisms of endophytic bacteria against nematodes: Antibiosis - some endophytic bacteria produce antibiotics and toxic substances against nematodes. For example, Trichoderma and Beauveria species secrete proteases, chitinases and other hydrolytic enzymes that damage the shell of nematodes.
