BIOLOGICAL FLUIDS OF THE ORGANISM AS SOLUTIONS OF ELECTROLYTES AND NON-ELECTROLYTES

Abstract

This article discusses the composition of biological fluids in the human body, their distribution and physiological significance, as well as their role as electrolyte and nonelectrolyte solutions. Scientific concepts are given about the physicochemical properties of fluids, the internal and external forces affecting their movement, and the importance of fluid balance in the body. Special attention is also paid to the biological role of electrolytes (sodium, potassium, calcium, etc.), their participation in maintaining homeostasis, and the importance of nonelectrolytes (glucose, amino acids and lipids) in metabolic processes. The causes of electrolyte-water balance disorders and measures to prevent them are also discussed. The article serves as an important theoretical basis for students studying in the medical field and in areas related to health care.
