Abstract

This article describes in detail the role of essential oils in human health, in particular their use in strengthening the immune system, combating viruses, bacteria and fungi, as well as in eliminating problems related to the gastrointestinal system. The biologically active substances of each essential oil, their mechanism of action, methods of application and beneficial aspects based on scientific research are presented.
