USE OF POMEGRANATE IN FOLK MEDICINE AND ITS PLACE IN MODERN MEDICINE

This article extensively discusses the use of pomegranate (Punica granatum) fruit in folk medicine. The chemical composition of pomegranate, its healing properties, and the beneficial aspects of decoctions and tinctures prepared from its various parts are analyzed.
Based on research, it is highlighted that pomegranate fruit has a positive effect on the body due to its antioxidant, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, and blood-purifying properties.
