Abstract

The role of biotechnology in modern medicine and pharmaceuticals is
increasingly increasing. Biotechnological innovations are providing important advances in areas such as new drugs, vaccines, diagnostic methods
and gene therapy. This article
reviews the latest advances in biotechnology in medicine and pharmaceuticals, their practical
importance and future prospects.
