In this article, the chemical composition of the Valeriana (Valeriana officinalis.L) plant was studied using the methods of YSSS and spectrophotometry. It was found that the plant is rich in flavonoids, namely, it contains a large number of biologically active flavonoids such as gallic acid and rutin. At the same time, the composition of macro- and microelements was also studied during the study. Based on the results, it is suggested that it can be used in folk medicine for the prevention and treatment of neurasthenia (nervousness), a common disease of the central nervous system among the population.
Based on the results of the experiment, the production of a new natural healing and harmless food supplement called "ALINAB" was launched
