Myopia, also known as nearsightedness or farsightedness, is a condition in which distant objects appear blurry and nearby objects appear clear. The main focus of light is in front of the retina. Myopia is congenital and acquired. It is usually mild, moderate, and severe. Myopia is corrected with contact lenses, glasses, and laser surgery.
