Abstract

This article is devoted to the study of the chemical composition of oak bark and its significance in folk medicine. The study shows the effect of active substances in the plant, especially antioxidants, on the body and their role in the treatment of diseases. In folk medicine, oak bark is distinguished by its anti-inflammatory, antibacterial and pain-relieving properties. The article presents the chemical composition of the plant, its antioxidant properties and methods of use in folk medicine, as well as its benefits proven by scientific research. The results of the studies draw attention to the potential therapeutic properties of oak bark.
