This article analyzes the methods of molecular detection of oral infections and their importance in modern dentistry. It is based on the fact that disruption of healthy oral microflora causes various diseases and the need for early detection of this condition. Molecular diagnostics (PCR, qPCR, NGS, LAMP) methods allow for early detection of infections, development of individual treatment protocols, and assessment of antibiotic resistance. These technologies increase the possibility of providing high accuracy, efficiency, and quality service in dental practice.
