MODERN APPROACHES AND METHODS OF TREATMENT OF DISEASE OBESITY IN BIOMEDICINE

This paper examines obesity as a serious chronic disease, which is not only an aesthetic but also a medical problem.
The main causes of obesity are revealed, including alimentary, endocrine and neurogenic factors. The importance of early diagnosis and a comprehensive approach to treatment, including diet therapy, medications, as well as the latest innovative areas - gene and immunotherapy, correction of the microbiome, electrical stimulation of the vagus nerve, is emphasized. Particular attention is paid to complications caused by obesity, including oncological and psychoneurological disorders. The work emphasizes the importance of an individual approach to the treatment and prevention of obesity, especially among young people as a risk group.
