METHODS OF TREATING OTITIS MEDIA IN FOLK MEDICINE AND MEDICAL

This article discusses otitis media - inflammation of the middle ear - and its medical and
traditional treatment methods. This disease is especially common in children and
people with weakened immunity. The main symptoms of the disease include earache,
fever, hearing loss, and fluid discharge from the ear.
Otoscopy, audiometry, and tympanometry are used for diagnosis. Treatment includes antibiotics,
anti-inflammatory drugs, physiotherapy, and sometimes surgery.
Timely diagnosis and treatment help prevent serious complications of otitis media.
