This article is devoted to the medical use and efficacy of saponins in bronchitis and asthma. Saponins are bioactive substances obtained from plants, and their potential use in respiratory diseases is considered due to their expectorant, anti-inflammatory and immune-enhancing properties. The article discusses the pharmacological effects, clinical efficacy, as well as their advantages and limitations. Based on research and folk medicine experience, the importance of saponins in the treatment of these diseases is analyzed.
