Abstract

This article covers the basic concepts of electrochemistry and their application in medicine, in particular, their importance in the field of electrodiagnostics.
Electrodiagnostic methods - ECG, EEG, EMG and ERG - are widely used to measure bioelectrical processes in the human body, including the heart, brain, muscles, nerves and eyes. The principle of operation of these devices is based on electrochemical laws and plays an important role in the early detection of diseases and correct diagnosis in modern medicine. The article describes in detail the mechanism of operation of each device and shows the practical importance of electrochemistry knowledge in the field of diagnostics.
