BRONCHIAL ASTHMA. CAUSES AND TREATMENT METHODS

Abstract

This thesis discusses bronchial asthma (asthma bronchiali), its etiology, clinical symptoms and treatment methods. Bronchial asthma is a chronic allergic disease, the main symptom of which is attacks of suffocation. Infectious factors, increased sensitivity to allergens and some occupational factors play an important role in the development of the disease. The thesis describes the clinical course of the disease, the patient's condition during the attack and symptomatic signs. Also, treatment measures include limiting contact with allergens, hyposensitization, bronchodilators, mucolytics, theophylline, antibiotics, and in severe cases, the use of oxygen therapy and glucocorticosteroids.
