Abstract

This article explores the potential of various herbs known for their natural antibiotic
properties in the treatment of wounds. It reviews historical and contemporary uses of herbal
remedies, examines the active compounds responsible for antimicrobial action, and discusses both
traditional applications and modern scientific investigations. The aim is to bridge ethnobotanical
knowledge with current medical research, highlighting the potential integration of herbal
antibiotics into wound management strategies.
