THE ROLE OF ANTIBIOTIC THERAPY IN MENINGITIS
Abstract
Meningitis is a serious infectious disease characterized by inflammation of the membranes of the brain and spinal cord, and is characterized by high mortality and disability, especially in the bacterial form. This study analyzed the effectiveness of antibiotic therapy in bacterial meningitis, the optimal
drugs and their mechanisms of action. The results of early and late
treatment were also studied.
