SPECIES COMPOSITION OF LONG-WHISKER BEETLES IN THE FERGANA VALLEY: TAXONOMIC REVISION AND NEW VIEWS
Keywords:
Fergana Valley, long-horned beetles, Cerambycidae, taxonomic revision, entomofauna, distribution area, flagship species, food plants, biodiversity, regional endemicsAbstract
The article discusses the modern taxonomic composition of the Cerambycidae family found in the Fergana Valley. Based on literature, collections, and field observations, species and subspecies were identified, and their local names, distribution areas, and ecological characteristics were analyzed. The results serve as an important basis for the protection of the entomofauna and biodiversity of the region.
