ON THE PHYSIOLOGICAL POLYMORPHISM OF JUICES IN THE CONDITIONS OF THE FERGANA VALLEY

Abstract

This article analyzes the causes, mechanisms, and evolutionary significance of physiological polymorphism (winged and wingless forms, sexual and parthenogenetic generations, and different manifestations of life cycles) observed in populations of aphids (Aphididae) living in the Fergana Valley. Using field observations, laboratory experiments, and molecular research methods, the authors sought to identify the main factors that ensure the high adaptability of aphids, that is, the formation of different phenotypes within the same genotype.
