STRUCTURE AND ECOLOGICAL STABILITY OF THE HAGEA MINIMA POPULATION IN THE ANDIJAN REGION

Abstract

Andijan region is located in the Fergana Valley of Uzbekistan, where spring ephemeroids, including the species Gagea minima (Liliaceae), are widespread. This article analyzes the ontogenetic spectrum of the population of Gagea minima based on its morphological characteristics, ecological habitat, and ontogenetic development stages. Field studies were conducted in the spring of 2025 in the Bostan district of Andijan region. During the study, the relative proportion of individuals of the species by ontogenetic state (embryonic, juvenile, immature, virginal, generative, senile) was determined. The results of the analysis serve to assess the stable or unstable state of the Gagea minima population, as well as to identify its adaptation to the natural environment and threatening factors.
