This thesis provides information about the physiology and medicinal properties of the sesame plant. Sesame is a plant known since ancient times. According to information, the sesame plant originated in East Africa. Even now, sesame plants growing wild in various places are often found. Due to its growth in various soil and climatic conditions, various forms of sesame have spread. As a result of scientific research, it has been proven that sesame can be cultivated in Uzbekistan.
