Abstract

An open reading frame is a DNA sequence that begins with a start codon and does not contain a stop codon, possibly encoding a protein. The program ORF Finder (Open Reading Frame Finder) identifies open reading frames (ORFs) on both strands of DNA. This program searches for open reading frames in the genomic DNA sequence that you enter. Using the ORF Finder program, you can identify open reading frames on both strands of DNA.
