Abstract

The biological and physiological significance of metabolism in the plant organism is highlighted. In particular, processes such as photosynthesis, respiration, transpiration, and nutrient absorption are analyzed, and their impact on plant growth, development, and productivity is discussed. The agronomically significant aspects of metabolism, as well as the practical and scientific benefits identified as a result of research, are also described.
