ANATOMICAL FEATURES OF COMMON WHEAT RELATED TO BEDDING RESISTANCE

The aim of this study was to study the inheritance and anatomical structure of lodging resistance traits in wheat stems. High yield of wheat increases the weight force on the stem, causing lodging. This is one of the serious reasons for yield loss. Therefore, studying the anatomical structure of the stem is an important factor in selecting hybrid plants that are resistant to lodging.
