Abstract

Photosynthesis is one of the most important processes in plant life, and its light and dark phases are of fundamental importance for plant growth, development, and energy supply. During the light phase, chlorophyll located in the membranes of chloroplasts absorbs light energy and converts water and carbon dioxide into chemical energy, resulting in the formation of oxygen and ATP. This thesis comprehensively discusses the role and ecological significance of the light phase of photosynthesis in plant life.
