This article discusses the important role of nitrogen in plant growth and development within the framework of plant physiology. Nitrogen is considered a key element in plant protein synthesis, chlorophyll formation, enzymatic processes, and general metabolism. The effects of nitrogen deficiency and excess on plant development were studied through laboratory experiments.
