Abstract

This article provides detailed information about modern biological membranes. In particular, it discusses the complex dynamic nature of cell membranes and their importance in the physiological processes of the organism, as well as the importance of modern methods in studying membrane structure, such as cryo-electron microscopy, super-resolution microscopy, and molecular dynamics simulations.
