Keywords:
Azotobacter chroococcum, nitrogen-fixing, gram-negative, aerobic, microaerophile, heterotroph, auxin, cytokinin, gibberellin, microflora, biofertilizer.Abstract
Azotobacter chroococcum is of great importance in agriculture, that is, through this bacterium, it is possible to obtain a useful biofertilizer in all respects. Biofertilizers are more beneficial to plants than chemical fertilizers. A. chroococcum absorbs free nitrogen from the atmosphere, produces growth hormones in plants, accelerates their growth, and decomposes organic matter in the soil, improving the soil structure and helping beneficial microorganisms to multiply in the soil.
