Abstract

This article analyzes the process of intellectual development of senior high school students based on modern psychological and pedagogical approaches. The essence of the concept of intellectual development, its main components and stages of development are studied in depth. The role of modern teaching methods in the formation of students' skills such as critical thinking, problem solving, and creative thinking is also considered. The article identifies factors affecting intellectual development based on the theories of scientists such as Vygotsky, Piaget, Bloom, and Anfimov. Methodological recommendations are also given for analyzing the level of intellectual development of senior high school students based on the “Anfimov table” and creating an effective intellectual development environment.
