EFFECT OF PHYTOECDYSTEROIDS ON THE ACTIVITY OF MEMBRANE HYDROLYSIS ENZYMES OF NUTRIENTS

Phytoecdysteroids turkesterone and ecdysterone have been shown to increase the activity of membrane-bound enzymes in growing rats. Exogenous phytoecdysteroids cause a marked increase in the activity of intestinal maltase, sucrase, glycyl-L-leucine dipeptidase and monoglyceride lipase against the background of constant lactase activity in growing rats. The reactivity of enteral membrane-bound enzymes is more pronounced for turkesterone than for ecdysterone.
