This article provides a comprehensive overview of the technology of growing lentils (Lens culinaris Medik) in the agroclimatic conditions of Uzbekistan. The biological and morphological characteristics of lentils, optimal planting time, crop care, fertilization methods, methods of increasing yield based on agrotechnical measures such as row spacing and seed rate are analyzed. The article also focuses on measures to combat diseases and pests, harvesting and storage technologies. The role of lentils in food security, ecological purity, and economic efficiency are scientifically demonstrated.
