GROWING OF BEANS (PHASEOLUS VULGARIS L.) IN THE CLIMATE CONDITIONS OF UZBEKISTAN

Abstract

This article is devoted to the agrotechnical and technological aspects of growing beans (Phaseolus vulgaris L.) in the climatic conditions of Uzbekistan. The article considers the growth characteristics of beans in the continental climate of the country, that is, hot summers and relatively cold winters, optimal varieties, methods of soil preparation, planting, irrigation, pest control and harvesting. The importance and economic benefits of beans in increasing soil fertility through nitrogen fixation are emphasized. The possibilities of achieving high yields through the use of modern methods, including drip irrigation and selection, are analyzed.
