This article discusses the scientific and practical foundations of using a composite binder based on cement-microsilica in the production of aerated concrete blocks, which are one of the modern energy-efficient building materials. Due to the highly dispersed structure of microsilica, its use as a binder has been proven to increase the structural integrity of aerated concrete blocks, reduce thermal conductivity indicators, and improve strength. Based on the experiment, the properties of samples prepared from mixtures with different percentages of microsilica added were evaluated, such as density, porosity, pressure resistance, and thermal conductivity. The results of the study showed that by optimizing the amount of microsilica in the composition of the composite binder, it is possible to obtain environmentally and economically efficient, heat-resistant, and lightweight aerated concrete block products. This work is of great importance in the introduction of innovative approaches in the building materials industry.
