Abstract

This article presents the technological characteristics of PC-14 hard alloy-based toothed cutters made of tungsten carbide powder. The results of research on the formation of the internal structure of cutters made of hard alloy are also presented. The testing continued until the combine cut 30 m of potassium salt rocks along its route and opened a tunnel. For the carbidization process in the production of tungsten carbide powder, according to the requirements of GOST 7885-20: relative surface area 12…16 m2/g; moisture content not more than 0.5%; content of waste rocks not more than 0.2% - we used lamp or gas soot formed by the thermal decomposition of hydrocarbons.
