Abstract

This paper discusses the development and implementation of an automated control system for feeding bulk materials into a zigzag separator used to separate particles based on their aerodynamic properties. The focus is on ensuring a stable and uniform feed of material, which helps improve the efficiency of pneumatic separation. The proposed system includes flow and weight sensors, as well as a programmable logic controller (PLC) that implements feedback control. It is expected that the implementation of automated feeding will improve the quality of separation and reduce material losses.
