Abstract

This article studies the impact of cultural heritage and tourism on economic growth in Uzbekistan based on econometric analysis. Using statistical data for 2020–2024, the relationship between export-import, foreign investment, tourism revenues, and economic growth was identified. The study conducted correlation and regression analyses in the STATA program to assess the interaction between variables. The results show that cultural heritage-based tourism has a positive impact on economic growth, and foreign investment is an important factor in the development of tourism infrastructure. Export-import indicators play an additional role in ensuring economic stability. The study provides suggestions for promoting Uzbekistan’s rich cultural heritage in the global tourism market and accelerating economic growth by increasing investment in infrastructure. This work serves as a useful roadmap for strengthening public policy and international cooperation.
