Abstract

The article discusses the most popular software (offline) simulators of electrical circuits intended for design, analysis and testing of analog and digital devices. The functional features of such tools as LTspice, NI Multisim, PSpice, Proteus, TINA-TI and QUCS are analyzed. Their advantages, limitations and areas of application in engineering practice and technical education are noted. A conclusion is made on the advisability of choosing a specific simulator depending on the user's tasks.
